Official rulings
- If the target creature is an illegal target, you'll still gain control of the target Equipment until end of turn, but you won't attach it to the chosen creature. (2025-06-06)
- The reflexive triggered ability will trigger any time you lose control of that Equipment this turn, whether it's because the "until end of turn" duration ended or because someone else gained control of the Equipment with another effect. (2025-06-06)
