Which links

Links and cart buttons pointing at TCGplayer and Card Kingdom. You’ll find them on card pages, commander pages, the card guides and Card Finder, precon pages, and the Buy tab of a deck report. They’re marked rel="sponsored" in the page source, and a note appears next to them where they’re grouped.

Links to Scryfall, Cardmarket, and Cardhoarder are not affiliate links, and neither is anything in the rules or reference sections.

How it affects what you see

It doesn’t. Every recommendation on this site is produced by deterministic analysis of the card pool — synergy tags, EDHREC play rates, combo data, and hypergeometric mana math. No card is suggested, ranked, or promoted because it pays better, and no retailer pays for placement. The precon pages will happily tell you to buy the singles instead of the sealed deck, or to buy nothing at all, when that’s what the numbers say.

About the prices

Card prices come from Scryfall’s daily bulk data and reflect the cheapest buyable printing at the time of the last sync, not a live quote. Sealed precon prices come from TCGplayer’s market price where available and Card Kingdom otherwise. Always check the actual price at the retailer — what you see here can be a day or more stale, and is meant for comparison, not as an offer.

Why

Mauldron is free, has no ads, and doesn’t sell your data (see the privacy policy). Affiliate commissions and the occasional coffee are what cover the server bill.
