Conspiracies (25)

Every card with the Conspiracy type is banned. They start the game in the command zone and change how a draft works, so they have nothing to do with power level — there's just no sensible way to play them in a constructed multiplayer game.

Ante cards (9)

Cards that play for ownership of cards. Ante was abandoned decades ago and is illegal in every sanctioned format, so the whole category is banned.

Dexterity and sub-game cards (3)

Cards resolved by physically flipping or dropping them, or by playing a whole game of Magic inside your game of Magic. Both make the game inaccessible to some players and, in the sub-game case, a logistical nightmare at a four-player table.
