Official rulings
- The target legendary creature copies exactly what was printed on the card in exile and nothing else. It doesn’t copy any information about the object the card was before it was exiled. (2024-07-05)
- If either one of the targets of The Animus’s last ability is illegal when the ability begins to resolve, nothing will happen when the ability resolves. (2024-07-05)
